These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Ingenious Security ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Ignatius Mohamed, based in Bethesda, MD. By booking a consultation or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Ingenious Security provides cybersecurity consulting and guidance services to individuals, families, freelancers, and small businesses. Services include, but are not limited to, account security reviews, device hardening guidance, network safety assessments, and incident response assistance.
All services are delivered remotely via video call, phone, or written communication unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Our services are advisory and educational in nature. We provide guidance and recommendations based on the information you share with us and what we observe during consultations. Implementation of any recommendations is ultimately your responsibility unless you have specifically engaged us to perform a task on your behalf with your explicit permission.
We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will prevent all security incidents. No security solution is 100% foolproof, and cybersecurity risk can never be entirely eliminated.

Service pricing is as listed on our Pricing page and is subject to change. The specific price applicable to your service will be confirmed before work begins. Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
For the Business Protection Plan and any custom engagements, pricing will be scoped individually based on the size and complexity of the work required.
We are committed to delivering genuine value. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 7 days of your session to discuss your concern. We will work in good faith to address any issues, including partial or full refunds at our discretion depending on the circumstances.
We treat all client information as strictly confidential. Any details shared during a consultation — including account names, business information, or security vulnerabilities — will not be disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
Ingenious Security provides services in good faith based on the information available. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, unauthorized access to accounts, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
All content on the Ingenious Security website, including text, graphics, and the Ingenious Security logo, is the property of Ingenious Security and may not be reproduced without written permission.
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to attempting to access systems you are not authorized to access, or engaging in activities that violate any applicable law or regulation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland.
